Scandic Imatran Valtionhotelli
The historic Scandic Hotel Imatran Valtionhotelli next to the Imatrankoski rapids can be thought of as a national treasure whose hospitality over the years has been enjoyed by many eminent guests. Upon stepping inside however, you will come face to face with the spontaneity and straightforwardness of the Karelian people û all guests are equally welcome. The hotel is formed of two buildings. The Castle hotel from 1903 and the Congress hotel from 1985. The hotels are conjuncted by an underground subway.
