Las Quintas, which has a staff of 200, is a walled estate encompassing flowers, trees, fountains, lawns, and statues that set off its white walls and red-tiled roofs. The spa has 15 treatment rooms, separate men's and women's saunas and showers, two heated outdoor pools (one for laps and one with a rock waterfall and Jacuzzi), and a sensory-deprivation flotation tank. Treatments begin with fitness evaluations and include steam and sauna baths, several exfoliating body scrubs, fango wrap, Swedish massage with aromatherapy, shiatsu, thalassotherapy, body polishes, and various kinds of facials. Salon services include hair styling, wax treatments, manicures, and pedicures. A small open-air gym offers stationary bikes, Stairmaster, treadmills, Nordic equipment, and free weights overlooking the gardens. Fitness classes include aerobics, tai chi, step aerobics, water aerobics, yoga, Tae-Bo, and Latin dancercise.
